1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Stride Run Club Bengaluru community platform, forums, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Stride Run Club Bengaluru ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Stride Run Club is operated by Sidharth Yadav, Founder of Stride Run Club, located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Purpose of the Platform. The Services constitute the official web presence of Stride Run Club, Bengaluru. The platform exists for the following purposes: (a) to serve as the club's online presence and source of information about the club, its runs, and its community; (b) to enable individuals to create and maintain a personal athlete profile; (c) to operate as a ticketing and registration platform through which users may register, and where applicable pay, for runs and events organised by the club; and (d) to enable users to become and remain members of Stride Run Club and to record their participation and milestones with the club.
Purpose of Data Collection. In order to provide the Services, we collect and process the following categories of personal data, strictly for the purposes stated: your name, email address, and profile photograph (to create, identify, and display your account and athlete profile); profile details you choose to provide, such as your biography, location, specialties, social-media links, and race history (to present your athlete profile as you direct); your contact and emergency-contact details, date of birth, and gender where requested during event registration (to administer the event safely and to contact you or your nominated contact in an emergency); and your event registration, payment status, and attendance records (to operate ticketing, entry, check-in, and milestone tracking). We do not collect personal data for any purpose not described here or in our Privacy Policy, and we do not sell your personal data. The processing of all personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
2. Definitions
"User," "you," and "your" refer to the individual or entity accessing or using our Services. "Content" refers to any text, images, videos, audio, posts, comments, or other material that appears on or through our Services. "User Content" refers to any Content that users submit, upload, or transmit to or through our Services. "Community Guidelines" refers to the additional rules and standards for participating in our community, which are incorporated by reference into these Terms. "Intellectual Property Rights" means all patent rights, copyright rights, moral rights, rights of publicity, trademark rights, trade dress and service mark rights, goodwill, trade secret rights, and other intellectual property rights.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines, all of which are incorporated by reference. If you are using our Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services.
Free Consent. Your participation in the Services — including creating an account, building a profile, providing personal data, and registering for or attending club runs and events — is entirely voluntary. Any consent you give to the collection or processing of your personal data is, and must at all times be, free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous, signified by clear affirmative action on your part, in accordance with Section 6 of the DPDP Act. No feature of the Services conditions your access on consent to processing that is not necessary for that feature. You may withdraw your consent at any time, with the same ease with which it was given, including by deleting your account as described in our Privacy Policy; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
4. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting a prominent notice on our Services or by sending you an email. Your continued use of our Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using our Services.
5. Eligibility
To use our Services, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18 years old, you must have permission from your parent or legal guardian to use our Services, and they must agree to these Terms on your behalf. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Minors and Guardian Consent. In accordance with Section 9 of the DPDP Act, we process the personal data of a minor (any person who has not completed eighteen (18) years of age) only with the verifiable consent of that minor's parent or lawful guardian. Where a minor uses the Services, the parent or guardian who provides such consent: (a) represents and warrants that they are the minor's parent or lawful guardian and are competent to give such consent; (b) accepts these Terms on the minor's behalf; and (c) remains responsible for the minor's use of the Services. We do not undertake tracking or behavioural monitoring of minors, and we do not direct advertising at minors. If we learn that a minor's personal data has been collected without verifiable parental or guardian consent, we will erase it without delay.
Certain areas or features of our Services may have additional age restrictions, which will be specified where applicable.

You may customize your profile and username, but you may not impersonate others or choose a username that is offensive, vulgar, infringes someone's rights, or otherwise violates our Community Guidelines.
Review and Modification of Your Details before Event Registration. The information you have provided to us is stored securely against your account and is used to pre-fill the registration form for each new event, so that you are not required to re-enter it. Before completing any new event registration, you are afforded the opportunity — and are encouraged — to review the details presented in the registration form and to correct, update, or complete them. The details you submit at the time of registration are the details that will govern that registration. In addition, you may review and modify your profile details at any time from your profile page, in accordance with your right to correction under Section 11 of the DPDP Act.

This license authorizes us to make your User Content available to the rest of the world and to let others do the same.
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant us this license and that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights, applicable laws, or our Community Guidelines.

10. User Reporting and Feedback
You are encouraged to report content or behavior that violates our Terms or Community Guidelines using the reporting tools provided in our Services. We review reports and take action as appropriate, but we do not guarantee a specific response time or particular outcome.
You may also provide feedback on our Services, including suggestions for improvement. By submitting feedback, you grant us an unrestricted, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and implement your feedback in any way without any obligation to compensate you.

Where your name, photograph, or likeness appears in club photography or event coverage, it is used with your consent and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and such consent may be withdrawn as described therein.
Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Stride Run Club Bengaluru.

17. Payment Terms, Premium Features and Subscriptions
Payment Processing. Where a run, event, or feature requires payment, the applicable fee is displayed at the time of registration or purchase. A registration or purchase is confirmed only upon our verification of successful payment.
Taxes. All fees are stated in Indian Rupees (INR) and, unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of registration or purchase, are inclusive of applicable taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST). You are responsible for any additional charges levied by your bank or payment provider.
Cancellation and Refunds. Event registrations are personal to you and non-transferable. Cancellation and refund entitlements, if any, are as stated in the event-specific terms presented at the time of registration; unless stated otherwise there, fees paid for event registrations are non-refundable. If we cancel an event and it is not rescheduled, you will be offered a refund of the registration fee paid or, at our discretion and with your agreement, a transfer of your registration to another event. Refunds, where due, are processed to the original payment method within the timelines of the payment gateway and your bank.
Failed Payments. If a payment fails, is declined, or remains incomplete, your registration is not confirmed and no place is held for you. Where an amount has been debited from your account but your registration is not confirmed, the amount is ordinarily reversed automatically by the payment gateway or your bank within their prescribed timelines; if it is not, please contact us using the details in Clause 29 and we will assist in tracing and resolving the payment.

- You agree to pay the applicable fees and taxes
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date
- You authorize us to charge your payment method for renewals

- Refunds are provided only as specified in our refund policy
Different subscription tiers may offer different features, access levels, or benefits. We reserve the right to change subscription offerings at any time.
